We The People of Cheltenham

We The People of Cheltenham..

is an inclusive community group which began its organization around the issue of SEPTA's proposed 700 car garage at the Wyncote/Jenkintown train station.

Our concerns quickly broadened to encompass the right of the people in our township to determine the future livability and sustainability of Cheltenham, as reflected in the proposed Charter amendment.

With the assistance of the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) we have proposed to amend the Home Rule Charter of Cheltenham Township to reflect our local community based rights in deciding the development of our community - not just in Wyncote, but township wide.
